Cre-Ser participated in the XXIII Annual Conference of the Grupo de Fundaciones y Empresas (GDFE)

On Tuesday, November 14, Fundación Cre-Ser took part in the XXIII Annual Conference of the Grupo de Fundaciones y Empresas (GDFE), held at the Buenos Aires Convention Center. This year’s edition brought together more than 450 leaders from the social, private, public, and academic sectors to reflect on shared challenges and explore collaborative approaches to the country’s development.

The event centered on the transition from individualism to collective action, emphasizing the importance of coordination and shared purpose in addressing Argentina’s most pressing social issues.

Victoria López Hermida, Operations Manager, attended the conference on behalf of Cre-Ser, joining organizations and partners committed to strengthening social impact through cooperation.

As a member organization of GDFE, Cre-Ser congratulates the Group on its 30th anniversary, celebrating three decades of leadership in promoting strategic social investment in Argentina. For us, it is an honor and a pleasure to be part of this collective journey and contribute to a common agenda alongside foundations and companies from across the country.

El pasado martes 14 de noviembre, la Fundación Cre-Ser estuvo presente en la XXIII Jornada Anual del Grupo de Fundaciones y Empresas (GDFE), celebrada en el Centro de Convenciones de Buenos Aires. Esta edición reunió a más de 450 líderes del sector social, privado, público y académico, en una jornada dedicada a reflexionar sobre los desafíos actuales y la construcción colectiva del desarrollo del país.

El encuentro abordó como eje central la transición del individualismo hacia la acción colectiva, en un contexto atravesado por desigualdades profundas y la necesidad de repensar estrategias de articulación para maximizar el impacto social.

En representación de Cre-Ser participó Victoria López Hermida, Operations Manager, acompañando los paneles, conversaciones y espacios de networking que hicieron de la jornada un punto de encuentro clave entre organizaciones y aliados estratégicos.

Como organización miembro del GDFE, desde Cre-Ser felicitamos al Grupo por sus 30 años de trayectoria impulsando la inversión social estratégica en Argentina. Para nosotros, es un placer ser parte de esta historia colectiva, compartir una agenda común y fortalecer el trabajo articulado con fundaciones y empresas de todo el país.

Cre-Ser participated in the presentation of the LAB Público-Privado and Fundación Mott project

On Tuesday, October 28, Fundación Cre-Ser took part in the presentation of the project jointly promoted by the Laboratorio Público-Privado (LAB) and the Fundación Mott, aimed at advancing the development of the Community Foundation model in Argentina.

As a member organization of the Grupo de Fundaciones y Empresas (GDFE), Cre-Ser was invited to this meeting, where the work plan designed to promote the Community Foundation model in Argentina was introduced.

Representing the foundation was Victoria López Hermida, Operations Manager, who participated in the event and engaged with representatives from various social organizations and companies from across the country.

For Cre-Ser, being part of these spaces is essential: they allow us to learn about new initiatives, strengthen collaboration with other foundations and companies, and continue broadening our perspective on community development models that enhance social impact.


El pasado martes 28 de octubre, la Fundación Cre-Ser estuvo presente en el lanzamiento del proyecto impulsado conjuntamente por el Laboratorio Público-Privado (LAB) y la Fundación Mott, orientado a promover el desarrollo del modelo de Fundaciones Comunitarias en Argentina.

Como organización miembro del Grupo de Fundaciones y Empresas (GDFE), Cre-Ser fue invitada a esta presentación, en la que se dio a conocer el plan de trabajo diseñado para promover el modelo de Fundaciones Comunitarias en Argentina.

En representación de la fundación participó Victoria López Hermida, Operations Manager, quien acompañó la jornada y compartió el intercambio con representantes de distintas organizaciones sociales y empresariales del país.

Para Cre-Ser, formar parte de estos espacios es fundamental: nos permite conocer nuevos proyectos, fortalecer la articulación con otras fundaciones y empresas, y continuar ampliando nuestra mirada sobre modelos de desarrollo comunitario que potencian el impacto social.

Cre-Ser participated in the fourth meeting of the Ciclo de Diálogo Estratégico on collective action and private social investment

On Thursday, August 14, Fundación Cre-Ser took part in the fourth meeting of the year within the framework of the Ciclo de Diálogo Estratégico, a space for critical and collective reflection on the strategic approach to Inversión Social Privada (ISP). The meeting was held at IAE Business School in Pilar and led by Alberto Willi together with the team of the Grupo de Fundaciones y Empresas (GDFE).

Representing Cre-Ser was Victoria López Hermida, Operations Manager de la Fundación, who participated as part of the Leadership Training program.

The session explored the foundations of acción colectiva, from its definition to the ABC of projects and collaborative impact policies. It addressed case studies and controversies, as well as the role of social organizations as bridges with civil society.

The gathering brought together social leaders to identify priority challenges and develop joint proposals, aiming to strengthen networking and enhance collective impact.

At Cre-Ser, we value the opportunity to participate in these spaces for learning and collective construction, convinced that strategic reflection and collaboration are key to driving sustainable social change.


El pasado jueves 14 de agosto, la Fundación Cre-Ser formó parte del cuarto encuentro del año en el marco del Ciclo de Diálogo Estratégico, un espacio en el que se reflexiona con mirada crítica y en comunidad sobre el enfoque estratégico de la Inversión Social Privada (ISP). El encuentro tuvo lugar en el IAE Business School de Pilar y estuvo liderado por Alberto Willi, junto al equipo del Grupo de Fundaciones y Empresas (GDFE).

En representación de Cre-Ser participó Victoria López Hermida, Operations Manager de la Fundación, como parte del programa Leadership Training.

Durante la jornada se indagó en los fundamentos de la acción colectiva, desde su definición hasta el ABC de proyectos y políticas de impacto colaborativo. Se abordaron casos y controversias, así como el rol de las organizaciones sociales como puentes con la sociedad civil.

La convocatoria reunió a líderes sociales para identificar desafíos prioritarios y generar propuestas articuladas, con el propósito de fortalecer el trabajo en red y potenciar el impacto conjunto.

Desde Cre-Ser celebramos la oportunidad de participar en estos espacios de aprendizaje y construcción colectiva, convencidos de que la reflexión estratégica y la articulación son claves para impulsar transformaciones sociales sostenibles.

 

Cre-Ser participated in the meeting on challenges and opportunities for social organizations in the financial market

On Tuesday, August 12, Fundación Cre-Ser took part in the event “Desafíos y oportunidades para organizaciones de la sociedad civil en el mercado financiero,” organized by the Grupo de Fundaciones y Empresas (GDFE) in Buenos Aires.

Representing Cre-Ser was Victoria López Hermida, Operations Manager, who participated within the framework of the Leadership Training program.

The meeting brought together specialists and sector leaders with the purpose of sharing tools and strategies from the financial market that can enable social organizations to strengthen their sustainability, improve their management, and expand their impact.

Speakers provided key perspectives: Luciana Denegri (Beccar Varela) presented an overview of regulations and the main challenges for OSCs, while Juan Thomas (Potenciar Solidario) addressed financial innovation and sustainability as key drivers of growth. In addition, case studies from Matías Kelly (Sumatoria) and Andrés Ballota (Club River Plate) offered concrete experiences of engagement with the financial sector.

At Cre-Ser, we are proud to be part of these spaces for training and reflection, convinced that networking and continuous learning are fundamental to further strengthening the social impact of organizations.


El pasado martes 12 de agosto, la Fundación Cre-Ser formó parte del encuentro “Desafíos y oportunidades para organizaciones de la sociedad civil en el mercado financiero”, organizado por el Grupo de Fundaciones y Empresas (GDFE), en la Ciudad de Buenos Aires.

En representación de Cre-Ser estuvo presente Victoria López Hermida, Operations Manager de la Fundación, quien participó en el marco del programa Leadership Training.

La jornada reunió a especialistas y referentes del sector con el propósito de acercar herramientas y estrategias del mercado financiero que permitan a las organizaciones sociales fortalecer su sostenibilidad, mejorar su gestión y ampliar su impacto.

Los expositores compartieron perspectivas clave: Luciana Denegri (Beccar Varela) presentó un panorama normativo y los principales desafíos regulatorios para las OSC, mientras que Juan Thomas (Potenciar Solidario) abordó la innovación financiera y la sostenibilidad como ejes de crecimiento. Además, se presentaron los casos de Matías Kelly (Sumatoria) y Andrés Ballota (Club River Plate), que aportaron experiencias concretas de articulación con el mercado financiero.

Annual Meeting and 30th Anniversary Celebration

On Wednesday, April 23rd, 2025, the Annual Meeting of Members of the “Grupo de Fundaciones y Empresas” (GDFE) was held. Cre-Ser has been a member of GDFE since 2020, and this year we were proudly represented by our Buenos Aires Regional Coordinator, Victoria López Hermida.

During the meeting, the GDFE’s 2024 report was presented, highlighting the work carried out over the past year across its main areas of action: “Finances for the Public Good,” the “Public-Private Laboratory,” and the “Strategic Dialogue Cycle.” These spaces continue to promote dialogue, innovation, and collective action for sustainable development and the Common Good.

It is a pleasure for our foundation to be part of this network, which enables us to keep building shared paths alongside other organizations, reaffirming our commitment to transforming reality through collaborative and responsible action.

GDFE Annual Conference: “La mirada sobre el territorio”

Every year, the Group of Foundations and Companies of Argentina (GDFE) organizes an annual event about private social investment. This year the slogan was “looking towards the community”, seeking to make those present question how to generate impact by addressing the real needs of the communities. Our Operations Manager, representing Cre-Ser, moderated a moment of interaction with all the participants.

Finance for the Public Good

Cre-Ser took part in the event “Finance for the Public Good”, with the aim of fulfilling our purpose of promoting collaboration in the financial market and strengthening civil society organizations.

Workshop with UNICEF

Cre-Ser was part of the workshop “Business and Human Rights: Focus on children in the due diligence process”, a space for reflection and debate on the practical aspects of due diligence on the rights of children and adolescents, with special attention to risk management and the promotion of good practices to integrate respect for the rights of children and adolescents in business activities.

From Idea to Reality

The GDFE and EY held the 1st Edition of the Virtual Course: From Idea to Reality: How to design projects with impact and capable of accessing sustainable financing?

Aimed at business leaders and civil society organizations that develop projects with positive social and environmental impact.

We finished a new Cycle of Dialogue

We participated again in the Cycle of Dialogue between foundations and companies organized by GDFE. During 5 meetings, at IAE Business School, we improved our ability to design and execute new impact projects.
